Content Removal Request
Non-rightsholder takedown · 24-hour review · no ID or legal documentation required
This page is for anyone who appears in content listed on VRTubbies and wants that content removed. You do not have to be the copyright holder. You do not need a lawyer. You do not need to send ID, address, or any other identifying information that you are not comfortable sharing.
For DMCA copyright takedowns:
Use the procedure on /dmca instead. DMCA notices have specific statutory requirements (sworn statement, identification of the work). This page covers everything else.
Who can request removal
- Anyone depicted in a scene who wants it removed, for any reason.
- A legal representative of a person depicted (parent, attorney, victim's advocate).
- Anyone with credible information that a scene was filmed without informed consent.
- Anyone reporting CSAM (see /csam-report for the dedicated procedure).
- Anyone reporting non-consensual deepfakes or image-based abuse.
How to request removal
Email [email protected] with:
- The URL of the scene or scenes you want removed (one per line is fine).
- A short statement of your relationship to the content (e.g., “I am the person depicted” or “I am the legal representative of the person depicted”).
- The reason for the request (one or two sentences). You do not have to give detail you are uncomfortable sharing.
- A way for us to reach you for follow-up if needed — an email, a Signal handle, anything.
We do not require government ID, a notarised statement, or a sworn declaration. We do not require you to identify yourself beyond what is necessary for us to act on the report and confirm we have done so.
Our review SLA
- Acknowledgement: within 6 hours.
- Removal from index: within 24 hours of receipt, pending verification.
- Full investigation: within 7 days for non-CSAM reports, immediate for CSAM.
- Confirmation: we will email you confirming the removal and what action was taken with the source studio.
- Studio communication: where appropriate, we forward the report to the producing studio with our removal decision.
What we ask of you
We act in good faith on credible reports. We also reserve the right not to act on reports that are obviously false or malicious (e.g., a competitor trying to suppress a rival studio's catalogue). If we decide a report is not credible we will write back and explain why.
