Consent Verification Policy
Last updated 16 June 2026
VRTubbies is a distributor of content produced by third-party studios. We do not produce content ourselves. This page describes how performer consent is verified upstream of our index and what we require of every studio that licenses content to us.
Studio warrants
Every studio whose content appears on VRTubbies has warranted in its distribution agreement with us that:
- Every performer entered into the production voluntarily, having read and understood the scope and intended distribution of the recording.
- Every performer was at least 18 years of age at the time of production and was identified via government-issued ID under 18 U.S.C. § 2257.
- Every performer was free to withdraw consent at any time during production, including after partial recording, without penalty or breach of contract.
- Every performer received a copy of the consent agreement they signed.
- The studio will honour subsequent withdrawal-of-consent requests and remove the content from its distribution chain within a commercially reasonable period.
These warrants are part of the studio's licensing paperwork. We retain the warrants for the duration of our distribution relationship plus seven years.
Why distributor-level verification
We do not collect individual performer consent forms because doing so would require performers to share private documentation with multiple distributors — exactly the kind of identity exposure performers have asked the industry to avoid. Instead, we rely on the studio as the single party holding the documented consent and we require the studio warrants above.
Withdrawal of consent
If you are a performer in any scene listed on VRTubbies and you wish to withdraw your consent — for any reason, at any time, without explanation — use /content-removal or email [email protected]. We will remove the content from our index within 24 hours of acknowledgement. We will then notify the producing studio of the withdrawal so they can act on it across their other distribution channels.
Audit triggers
We suspend an entire studio's catalogue from our index, pending verification, when any of the following occur:
- A credible report of non-consensual content involving the studio.
- Public reporting (news, industry coverage) alleging coercive production practices.
- Multiple performer withdrawal requests in a short period naming the same studio.
- A regulator or trafficking-victim advocacy organisation raises a concern.
- The studio fails to respond to consent-verification requests within 14 days.
Synthetic and AI-generated content
Animated or rendered content in our index that does not depict any real person remains subject to the same consent requirements only insofar as identifiable likenesses are concerned. Where studios produce 3D-rendered content that uses likeness data from a real performer, that performer's explicit, written consent for likeness use is required. Sexual deepfakes of identifiable people without consent are prohibited absolutely (see /non-consensual).
