Loaded the same scene from VRBangers (real 8K source) on both headsets via HereSphere with identical settings. Differences:

Net: 50/50 on raw image quality. Sometimes you'll prefer one, sometimes the other. Not a deciding factor.

Sideloading and app access

Quest 3: enable developer mode requires a Meta dev account ($0 but tied to identity), then SideQuest or direct APK install works. Most studios' Quest apps are on official Meta App Store now ( SLR, VRPorn, BadoinkVR) — direct install, no sideload needed.
